Intentional to Celebrate
How is the start of your new year? Any reflections and review of opportunities for growth?
Have you made resolutions and charted a course for achievement of goals?
I continue to define and set goals for 2026.
I will continue writing-another book will be released, serving in various capacities, and speaking as opportunities arise. I will be more intentional to celebrate the everyday moments, the moments we take for granted. They are humbling and filled with God’s grace. This morning’s sunrise was painted with a colors that reminded me of a rainbow spanning the sky. It was so beautiful, it didn’t seem real.
Earlier, I received a photo from a dear friend. She and her husband have been life and spiritual mentors for quite some time. They love God, they love His people (that’s the entire world), and they love each other with a depth that only God could have knit together.
The included photo is of my friend’s Bible study group Christmas celebration. They started the new year celebrating Christmas-the birth of Jesus. She wanted to share her gift to her sisters in Christ. The gift was Ruffled and Redeemed. This is an intentional moment to celebrate. Tears welled up as I looked at the ladies’ smiling faces. I am humbled and thankful.
Once again, Terrain’s song, Testimony filled my heart…”Look what the LORD has done.”
I am intentional to celebrate because “I am a living, breathing, walking testimony” to share what the LORD has done! That’s a plan for every day of the year, every day forward…
Is intentionally celebrating part of your plan?
